Week 83

Monday, May 28, 2018

Hey Mom,

This past week was better than the week before. We did a zone challenge and an activity. My camera died, so I didn´t get any photos personally, but loads of people got photos, so I will get photos from them. We did a challenge to find 132 new investigators and we got 136. So for the activity, we went to a forest on the backside of Fogo. It was legit. I felt like I was in the forests of Utah. It was incredible. I got a little bit sunburned but it´s all good. Better then the last time we went to the volcano. Other than that, nothing else really fun happened this past week. But yea, this week was better.

This week we have zone conference coming up and interviews with president. It will be really fun. We have a sweet lunch prepared so I am excited. Brava is coming to our house for the zone conference, since they are on another island. So that will be a party.

How are you this week?  I am doing well. I am a bit tired, but that is normal. I have been having some bad bathroom visits. But it´s normal. I am feeling well. This week I want to get better at my personal study. It is a goal that I have. So that´ll be good. Who is the work going?  It is going good. We had 8 investigators in church this past Sunday, so that was awesome. I love seeing people come to church. It is incredible to see the, come, as well as less actives and inactives. Seeing them come back is wonderful. What have you been doing this past week?  We have been receiving a lot of references from members, which is good. We are teaching a lot and that´s really good. Are you feeling less stress?  How are you feeling? I feel a lot better. Today President said some tips in a letter he wrote to the mission, so hopefully it will help a lot with what I am trying to improve.

My thought comes from seeing an inactive come to church for the first time in a year. It is never too late for you to come back. Never. The Savior stands ever ready to receive you today as He would have received you yesterday, and He will be ever ready and loving to receive you in the future, over and over again. Yes, it will require faith. trust, humility, and diligence, but if you know of the Saviors love for you, then you know that He thought about you, specifically you, on the cross and inn Gethsemane. Never will anythig take away that pain. I love the Savior and what He did for me, for you, for us, for the world. He is the light and life of the world, of us, of you, of me. I Love Him. I hope you all have a good week and enjoy some pizza for me would ya?

Love, Elder Nelson
