Hey Mom,
Life is good. Fogo is amazing. I haven't taken pictures yet because there has been no time. I got to Fogo by plane. I left on Wednesday, stayed in Praia that night, and then Thursday I went to Fogo. I miss Ribeira Brava and the people that I left, but I am super grateful to be back in Fogo. I have already seen loads of people fropm when I served in Fogo the first time. I will be doing a division in the area I was in before this Thursday. I am super excited. The area I am serving in now is Sao Filipe, and I am serving with Elder Vieira, a Portuguese.
So far so good this past week. We had stake conference and it was really powerful. The guy was from Denmark and I cant remember his name because it is hard to pronounce. But it was really cool. He spoke about the power of the Book of Mormon. And I was thinking about it. The BOM is the foundation of our religion. It is the keystone of what we believe. yes Jesus Christ is our Savior, but the BOM helps us draw closer to God and Christ than any other book. So therefore, to learn more about Christ we must study the BOM.
Anyway, hope everything is good for you guys back home. Love you all and I will see you next week. Last skype. The time has flown by so fast. Holy Smokes. And it looks like 8 in the morning over there is the best option. So I will see you next week bright and early, which will be 3 pm here in my time. Hope that works.
