How are you today? How has your week been? What new and exciting things have you been doing? How is the work going?
Hey Mom,
I am doing good. I am tired and kinda just overwhelmed right now actually. A lot of stuff is going on and I sometimes don´t feel capable to complete them. But, then I am reminded that we aren´t alone, that we have Christ on our side. So that is the good, so everything is good.
This past week was mais our menos. My comp, elder Vieira. was sick the past few days. Se we hardly left the house, except in the late afternoon. But, he is getting better now. Other cool things that happened this past week was we had a family night with some cool members. It was really fun. We also had some good lessons with some in-actives. Some are even rms. It´s kinda sad to see them lose their fire after the mission, but that is why we are here. But other than that, the work is still going. We had quite a few investigators come to church this past week so that was really good. I love seeing people make it to church. What a wonderful experience.
My thought comes from an experience I had this past Friday or Saturday. While Elder Vieira was ironing his shirt and taking a shower, I was reading my Patriarchal Blessing and setting apart blessing, and I had prayed specifically to find those elect that it mentions in both of those, and to feel that until now, there hasn´t been anything that I shold have done but didn´t do. And the most wonderful feeling came over me. IT was so cool. The Lord had sent the Holy Ghost to answer my questions. SO it was a really cool tender Mercy. So, God answers prayers. Something super simple, but sometimes we overlook it.
