Hey Mom,
The past week was pretty good. We had good moments and bad moments. Like always. And like always, the good outweighed the bad.
Nothing too dramatic happened this past week. Our investigators didn´t come to church, even after they said they would. Made me sad, but this next week it will be better. Teaching pour investigators are the easy part. It´s just getting them to church. But, the way we can change that is by learning about more of the reason why we go to church, and that is because of the sacrament. And man, my experience at church was fixe de mais. I partook of the sacrament, claro, and offered up in a prayer my sacraments, as Elder Perry suggested we do in conference of April of 2011. What a cool feeling. The church is so true. There is no other place here on earth that can offer the peace and happiness that this church can.
I also read a talk from President Oaks, same conference, about desires. Here is a direct quote from it. "Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions." Man, powerful. As I am out here, our desires have a strong influence on our choices and actions. They are something that I want to improve on and hope that I can. Love you Mom. I gtg, a guy needs email, but yea, LDS business college may not be the best option. So just about SUU and Dixie as well. Love you Mom.
Love Elder Nelson
And yes I would love to go into accounting and BYU. But here is my thought process. I want to get home and work for a bit before school. So I can save up money. Then in the fall semester of school, go to school, where ever it may be.
