Hello Mom,
This past week was a wonderful week full of miracles and revelation. It was one of the best weeks of my life. Having the chance to see an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ just confirmed to me even more than He lives and that He is the head of the church. But before I talk about that, the other parts of this past week were pretty fun as well.
This pat week wee had some good lessons with our investigators getting ready for baptism. Raquel is ready for this Saturday: I am super excited to see her enter the waters of baptism, It´s been a long process but it will end this week with a bang! Our other investigators are pretty cool as well. They are also progressing towards baptism. I am super excited to see them progress and make the steps necessary to make into the Celestial Kingdom.
Now for Elder Rasband!! Powerful. All I can say. He spoke to us and the people of Cape Verde. I got to watch the on in Praia and in Mindelo. It was an incredible experience. He gave apostolic blessings and also gave a powerful promise to these people if they are obedient to the commandments of God. But what I was really grateful for was that he told the people of Cape Verde to stay and help their country grow. He told them to help build the church here. When I head that, I was jumping for joy. The church needs them here. So many people I know want to leave and go and study. While that is a noble thing to do, God has greater need of them here in the country. And that brings back to the scripture in Jacob where it says to search the kingdom of God first. Man, that is so true. So that was that. I loved it. First time meeting and shaking an apostles hand. I will cherish it for the rest of my life. Glad you are doing well Mom. Hope that you have an awesome week.
