Week 60

Hey guys!!

Well, one more transfer has come and gone and I am..........staying a 3rd with Elder Gricius. Man, it has been a fun 2 transfers with this kid and I am pumped to make it a third. We are pumped to make December and January the best 2 months we can. This past week I also made a header in soccer. Man, it was such an accomplishment. I felt so happy cause I usually can´t play soccer so I was psyched. Also, this past week we had a stellar family night with our recent convert. It was her birthday and so we had a little party. It was pretty fun.

Guys, Chrsitmas is like one week away. We don´t have much planned this year. We already had our party and now it is just work work, work and more work until Christmas. I am pumped. Soon I wont be able to say I'll be home next year. Time is flying. The people here in Mindelo are pretty pumped for Christmas too. They have little trees and are just as happy as ever. Then that got me thinking. People in America are freaking out that they didn´t get the perfect present for somebody, ort that their dinner isn't just right., or whatever, while here people are happy if they get a new shirt or some new shoes or something soo small to us but big to them. 

So seeing this difference, it makes me so grateful for the Lord and that He put me in this position to see it. I hope tat you all are giving more this year than receiving. For that is what Christmas is about, giving. Have a good week and I will see you next!! Love you all!
