Hey Guys,
This past week has been a very crazy week. We have had 2 divisions and have done a lot of planning for the next transfer and getting our goals down for this month. Crazy week.
This past week has been a very crazy week. We have had 2 divisions and have done a lot of planning for the next transfer and getting our goals down for this month. Crazy week.
Nothing too much has happened, other than the fact the Lord is still putting people into our paths to teach. This area is kinda small, but very condensed. Because of that, we can walk on the same street but only knock like 5 houses out of like 17, so it is small but very well compacted. We also had some good lessons with some of our investigators who are close to accepting a baptismal date, Walter and Evanilda. It has been hard to get the doctrine across at times but when we do, it is powerful. There are still doubts, but we are taking those away slowly by the Holy Ghost. There are also a lot more people that we are teaching but are not consistent. We are so close on so many people though. I am so excited.
We also have a lot of less actives in our area. Like a lot. But one of the coolest thing ever was that we saw one of the,, BalĂș, come to church yesterday. Man that was awesome. We have been trying for like 3 weeks to get him to church, cause he is funny and cool, But he just wouldn't come. But then he came and it just made that moment really cool. <there is also a member that reminds me of Brother Gagen my wards elders quorum president. I didn't get a picture, but I will and you all will see the similarities( those of you who are in my ward haha).
Yesterday I had the opportunity to pass the sacrament and what a cool opportunity. After sacrament meeting, the elders quorum pres, who reminds me of Bro Gagen, said that I had good parents and ward leaders because they taught me how to pass the sacrament with respect. So, for all who was with me in my youth, especially my Mom and my Dad, thanks for the help and support through my youth. It is mostly because of you, especially my parents that I am the person that I am today and for the things that I know.
Next week I will include more of my investigators. Sorry about keeping y'all I the dark about who I've been teaching. Promise I will be better next week and in the future. Love you all and remember to be all in for the cause of Christ and His restored Gospel
Love Elder Nelson
