Sup Peeps,
Friday-Sunday was just 3 days in a row where we spent more time out of our area than inside. All approved of course haha. We had the english class this week. Lots of people don't have wifi in their house so they have to do it at the church. They also don't have a lot of computers so it will be kinda hard to share the time that we have to teach, 2 hours per week, but it'll be fun. We also sent a name to the temple on Friday. Legit. We also had baptisms in our zone and they were pretty cool feelings. We had loads of investigators come to church again, thank the heavens.
This week was a Blast!!! There is a lot to talk about so here we go.
On P-day, we ran around all day. It was tirering . Actually jk, that was 2 weeks ago haha. Last week was tranquilo. We had a stellar family night with the sisters who share our ward. It was pretty cool. This day will go down in history as the day I ate 12 pieces of cake. I had weighed myself that same day and I was only like 150 lbs. hahaha. Still can't gain weight. So that is the story behind that.
Tuesday we taught some people, Jose and Helena, and Walter. Jose and Helena have been talked to by the sisters for months, but they need to get married. So we are working with them now and we have had some pretty good lessons. Walter is our baptism tfor the 4. He is super cocky but then humble when he wants to be haha. Funny story, I had to get my shoes fixed, so I was just wearing my sandels to walk for lie a week, and every lesson we had with Walter he gave me so much crap for my shoes. Kinda funny but then kinda annoying. Anyways, he's a god guy. He came to church yesterday too so that was awesome.
Wednesday, not a lot happened. We talked to a member and then had some good ol lessons that day with like 2 people haha. Thursday was better. It was my year mark on the Mission. Man I feel old. One year já? Que djabeisso cara? Shoutout to brazillian portuguese. We also did a division and I did it with my fidju on the mission, Elder Kaivelata. It was awesome. Time is flying so fast.

Then today we climbed Monte Verde, which I have uploaded pics onto my drive, so ask my Mom to send those out to people or so what. But other than that, nothing much else happened. My only thought that comes from the week is to always be grateful for the things that you have. Being out here it has made me realize that I am blessed. And when I have a problem with something that seems big to me, its something that these people usually don't have to deal with. So, everybody please be grateful for what you have and to never take for granted the wonderful opportunity that each of you have each and every day to live the gospel. Love you all and stand up inside and be All In!!!!
With loads of Love, Elder Spencer John Nelson
