Thanksgiving!!!
Man, last Thanksgiving I was enjoying the mtc food. Now I will be getting some cape verde style of thanksgiving. If I write next week, know I am still alive then haha.
This last week was good. Not a lot happened actually a few people are ready for baptism so this Saturday is going to be a white thanksgiving weekend. Then I did a division with an elder from Brazil. This was the first time since my second transfer, back in February, that I have served with a Brazilian. Man, it was really different. All Portuguese and no English. Technically that's how it should be but I am lazy. Anyways, the classes of family history and tennis are doing really good too. We are getting more people coming to both. Fun fact too. My comp ELder Gricius won state for tennis his senior year of high school. So, he is pretty good. So when we played a few weeks ago, I sucked sooo bad. But, this last Saturday and today, my comp said I made good improvements and said that I am playing good. I was shocked.
Anyways, this week has been really fun in the service of the Lord. I have taken on a new desire to make my personally studies more meaningful and full of revelation. And it has worked. So this week, really pray and then really search through the scriptures and pray loads of times during your study too so that you can be ready for when the spirit will talk to you. Hope you all have an awesome week and remember, those who are not grateful for what they have will not enter the kingdom of God, and that's in D&C, so therefore, its proof. Have a great thanksgiving and I will enjoy it next year. And who knows, maybe I will actually gain weight from it too haha.
