Hey Mom,
Ok, 2 things. 1, I got a call asking me which airport I would be going too. The information about the plane flights are later and come through the email. 2, this is my 101 week. This past week has flown by though so I can see the confusion haha.
This past week has been a blast. We have had some rain, like a few down pours and right now it is overcast and it had rained. But now it has stopped. Our investigators are legit. We had like 7 in church and they are all cool. The ones that are most ready for baptisms are Eller and Codé. Eller is a kid whose mom is a member who is coming back to activity. He is cool and has a big desire to know if he should be baptized or not. I am pumped for that. Codé has a few more weeks to be ready, but is also progressing well. Came to church practically on his own yesterday. Pretty proud.
The ward is awesome. This week I will get pictures of the investigators and the members and my comp because it is the last week of transfers!! And then it's the final countdown. 6 weeks. I am most likely staying here but we will see. I love having the responsibilities of being a district leader. It is almost the same because now I have learned at least some bit of what is required of district leaders and the Lord is helping a ton. IN fact, I just leave the house and He does the rest. It is incredible to witness and bear of His truth and power and glory.
Time is just flying and I can't believe it. How is BYU? I got to know. Thanks for the update at home. I will be home soon enough, but with me coming home, I will be as busy as ever in maintaining a daily study schedule and using my time wisely. It will be intense I am excited to keep up the habits that I have gained here on the mission. And I promise, pictures are coming. I will load them up this next week. Love you Mom. have a good week.
Love Elder Nelson
And one more thing, thanks for all you do. Thanks for being the best mom ever. These next 6 weeks will be hard, full of temptations, and lots of work. I am ready to give it my all. I am ready for the day when I can come home and truly value the time that I am with you guys. Thanks again mom. Have a good week. Love you lots. Elder Nelson
